Partners

The Alignment Project flows from the ANADO Quality Program and is specific to organizations that are conducting international or regional initiatives that involve assessment and/or development of anti-doping programs.

The Alignment Project is a coordination initiative that supports the belief that collaboration across our mandates gives the best platform for achieving shared goals, and responds to the request from many anti-doping organizations for this kind of cooperation.

The current phase of the Project is focused on outreach to engage partners who can participate in mapping out and coordinating both common and supportive activities.

Once underway, the Project will involve identifying areas for exploring possible alignments, particularly with respect to:

  • collection of assessment data
  • recognition programs
  • program development – funding
  • program development – workshops and training sessions
  • program development – print, audio-visual and electronic resources
  • program development – mentoring support

Other focuses can be added as deemed useful.

The alignment objectives are to:

  • minimize duplication and workload
  • coordinate and maximize use of funds and resources
  • maximize consistency and harmonization
  • coordinate information, education and training opportunities
  • strengthen impacts of combined efforts
