Legal Support Information for ANADO
ANADO is committed to increasing communication among members and strengthening services. In this respect it is with great pleasure that Joseph de Pencier, formally with the Canadian Center for Ethics and Sport – now back working with Justice Canada, has agreed to provide regular information to Members on various legal aspects on doping in sport. This would include information and suggestions on developing anti-doping rules, summarizing arbitration decisions globally and perhaps having a blog on the ANADO website where Joseph can share and respond to various legal matters on a regular basis.
We will use the ANADO website as the main forum for Joseph’s involvement as we continue to revamp and look for ways to better utilize the website for all Members.
As a start, Joseph has prepared an initial “Legal Note” for the ANADO website; a tip for implementing the most difficult part of the new Code – Article 10, dealing with sanctions for individuals.
